mach Round

A mach round on the driving range requires a good bit of creativity given the lack of defined targets such as fairway and greens as there are on the course.  Use the range markers to indicate fairway and visualize a target in the shape of a green around the flag or target that best represents the yardage you have after hitting your drive.  You can assign point values for fairways and greens hit, take points away for shots that are way off line, imagine water features or bunkers, and add bonus points if you are playing along with someone else and get your shot closer than theirs.  The options for the exercise are endless, but it’s a fun way to change up your practice time and make it more effective.  Enjoy!
